Health Care has been one of the primary concerns of mankind from the time immemorial. Our forefathers were content with the treatment of aliments with herbs and surgery without anaesthesia. With the passage of time and invention of better and more reliable tools for diagnosis and treatement.
Late V.N Nair, the founder of the this hospital and a Singapore returnee with his first hand knowledge in the field started the existing hospital under name & style "Chandramathy Amma Memorial Hospital" some 30 year before. Though started in a simple way as a clinic by his in-law Dr. M Chandrasekharan, as a time rolled, by 1981 the hospital had specialists in almost all branches including Ophthalmology, Gynecology, ENT, General Surgery etc.
The hospital is ideally located on the Thrissur - Kanjany Road at olarikara about 5 Kms from Thrissur town and is easily accessible to the public. Over a period of time the hospital grew to the present bed capacity of 80 with 30000 sq.ft. building spread over 120 cents of land. The hospital is owned by a partnership firm having two partners Smt. P Rugmani and Sri. P Govindankutty, children of Late V.N nair. Today, under the leadership of Dr. M Chandrasekharan, superintendent, 20 efficent doctors are practicing in the hospital. They are ably supported by nursing staff, paramedical staff and office staff.
Chandramathy amma memorial is a multi specialty hospital dedicated in providing quality care at affordable cost. We focus on providing clinical excellence and patient safety . We enhance in providing a safe environment for all professionals including patients, visitors and staff.
We always thank almighty for entrusting us with the resposibility which a very few can compete and do without major setbacks for the past 31 years in health care services. Chandramathy amma memorial hospital is an institution started as a clinic and grown to be one the best trusted hospitals in thrissur district with an prominent track record. Having almost 21 departments and still growing,we have proven that we are not only good in taking care of our patients but also the staffs in cam and we were rewarded by the government of kerala for excellence in labour compliance. It was not a sudden growth,the trust and love showered upon us by the people made what cam hospital what it is now. We strongly believe in our motto "inspiring care and inspiring health",that doing something with uttermost love and sincerity makes the best differences in life which is a reflection in health care also. We know the doctors are the backbone of a hospital and i can just ignore the part that the nurses,paramedical staff housekeeping and maintenance staff, drivers ,security staff, administrative and office staff i am really thankful to one and all.
